Dihtiar Valeriy Andriiovych

MD, Professor has been the Head of the Department of Children’s Age Surgery since 2006.

A graduate of Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute, he completed clinical studies and successfully defended his PhD thesis 'Reconstructive and regenerative bone & plastic surgery at the substituting defects of the femoral neck fracture and cervical-acetabulum area in children' in 1988. He carried out his MD thesis 'Medical rehabilitation of children with benign tumors and tumor-like bone lesions' in 2006.

The Professor's scientific and practical activities are focused on treating children with birth defects and surgical diseases of the abdominal, pectoral area organs, and musculoskeletal system, including the introduction of minimally invasive techniques for children. 

Barsuk Oleksandr Mykhaylovych

The topic of the doctoral thesis is 'Purulent Diseases of the Lungs and Pleura in Children', 1987.

The topic of the doctoral thesis is 'Treatment of Slow Consolidation of Bone Fractures in Children (Clinical-Experimental Study)', 2011.

Responsible for educational and methodological work with students. 

Lukianenko Dmytro Mykolaiovych

Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences.

The topic of the doctoral thesis is 'Treatment and Medical Rehabilitation of Children with Metaphyseal Osteomyelitis (Experimental-Clinical Study)', 2016.

Savenko Maksym Volodymyrovych

The topic of the doctoral thesis is 'Optimization of Conservative and Surgical Treatment of Intestinal Intussusception in Children (Experimental-Clinical Study)'.

Responsible for the department's computer and software infrastructure, in charge of the department's website and the student scientific club.
